CÉSAR M. is a photographer who lives and works in Berlin and one of the GUTTAPERCHA collective’s core members. He was born on 25 October 1981 [Barcelos, Portugal] under the lightning of the "100years-delayed-Picasso-meteorite-crush" and as a result of that his eyes started flashing the night and all its broken landscapes. Parts of those experiences were wrapped in a newspaper and the rest was carefully kept in a black box for future inspiration.

In the spring of 2005 he moved to Berlin following the flight of a Bee. Since then his photos had been printed with honey: theatrical sequences for Pasolini; solitary visions for Katzgraben [buildings, ghosts, trains…]; movies out-of-the-body [films that turns into trailers and trailers which were supposed to be films]; scenarios for the noisy Bärenland's soundtrack; and a bunch of never ending manifestos for the GUTTAPERCHA collective [What you got on stage is only a rehearsal].
